Indian Arm nominated for Governor General’s Literary Award

We are thrilled to share the news that Indian Arm by Hiro Kanagawa is one of the 2017 Governor General’s Literary Award finalists for Drama. Indian Arm, which is based on Henrik Ibsen’s Little Eyolf, was the first script that Rumble commissioned as part of our revamped adaptation program.

When the production premiered in 2015, it wowed audiences and critics alike, and garnered Hiro the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award that year for Outstanding Original Script. We are so pleased that this great script continues to receive such wonderful recognition. Congratulations, Hiro!

The winners of the 2017 Governor General’s Literary Awards will be announced on November 1. Click here for a full list of nominees.
