Rumble Theatre is offering a one-day bouffon workshop for actors with Michael Kennard. We will discuss how bouffon differs from other forms of clown or physical theatre, and practice skills to become more flexible in the rehearsal and development process. The day will unfold with dialogue, experimentation, and scene work.

The workshop is open to all performers who have experience with bouffon, clown, and/or physical theatre.

About Michael Kennard:
Michael is one half of the celebrated Canadian clown duo Mump & Smoot and has created, performed, and toured Mump & Smoot shows across North America since 2008. He regularly teaches clown technique at the Manatoulin Conservatory for Creation and Performance and at the University of Alberta where he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Drama.
