“A great guide to modern madness…the final effect is exhilarating.” – Peter Birnie, Vancouver Sun

“…a thrilling, stylish ride.” – The Georgia Straight

After years of wandering, Denver and Marjorie find themselves in a remote northern community at the edge of a glacial sheet, chopping wood, renting out stolen videos and doing cocaine with Jude, a young gay man whose parents have abandoned him. When Jude discovers the body of a prehistoric boy frozen in the glacier, everyone finds their lives beginning to shift and thaw in unexpected ways.

Artistic Producer Craig Hall directed the world premier of this dark comedy in 2003 to great audience and critical acclaim. Since then the play had been produced across Canada and around the world. In fall 2011 Craig revisited the play that put him on Vancouver’s theatrical map. Derek Metz reprised his 2003 Jessie Award-winning turn as Denver. Anna Cummer, Kathleen Duborg and Charlie Gallant rounded out the talented cast. Set Designer Yvan Morissette and Composer/Musician Robert Perrault had the opportunity to reimagine their Jessie-nominated designs with the help of award-winning Lighting Designer John Webber.
