A night where we gather to share stories.
Rumble is accepting submissions for its second New Creation Night of the 2022/2023 season. It’s something like a storytelling night, only the stories don’t have to be true. But they can be, because there’s always a little truth in fiction.
Following up on the success of last season’s triptych of seasonal celebrations (Liminal Magic, Lupercalia, Ostara) and Harvest Moon this season, we are pleased to invite submissions on the theme of “The 4 Cardinal Points.”
As the 4 cardinal points appear in many cultures with different meanings, we invite you to explore what they mean to you. We welcome multiple interpretations, and of course the use of the theme as inspiration/“a jumping off point” for your piece.
New this time around: Experimental Venue
We invite you to collaborate with us on animating a new experimental venue – a portable creation tent in Woodland Park. Join us in the time honoured tradition of building a tent outdoors to house a night in which we share stories old, new, fiction and true. We invite your story to enter the tent to journey to The 4 Cardinal Points, the divine directions that hold universal intelligence, in search of coming back to centre, to the bare bones that are in alignment with the earth, fire, water and air.
