Cozy Catastrophe

Horrific events are overwhelming the entirety of human civilization. Four strangers must decide what to do with what could be their final hours. Should they pray? Fight back? Repopulate the earth? Or just get to know each other a little better? Cozy Catastrophe is a dark comedy about ordinary folks bound together by extraordinary circumstance.

Cozy Catastrophe had its beginnings at Hive 2 and had undergone several incarnations: a workshop/performance at Caravan Farm Theatre, a run at Summerworks in Toronto and then finally a run in our 2010 TREMORS Festival.

Theatre Melee is a Vancouver based theatre company that creates darkly absurd comedy. Its members are Courtenay Dobbie, Erin Mathews, Juno Ruddell, Andrew McNee, Michael Rinaldi, and Craig Hall.
