Join Rumble and Theatre Replacement with SFU for Ephemera V: From the Past to the Future. Celebrate, commemorate, and collectively tell the stories of our work, representing a moment in time and the history of your community. Share the traces of performances once present but now gone.

Ephemera / (ɪˈfɛmərə) /noun plural -eras or -erae (-əˌriː)/
a class of collectable items not originally intended to last for more than a short time, such as tickets, posters, postcards, or labels.

Choose up to three ephemeral items to contribute. These items can be ANYTHING from ANY timeline! If that sounds too open ended, we have come up with a suggestion for the prompt lovers:

“How do we make art tangible?”

These items will become a part of the SFU Special Collections and Rare books archive. Examples of previous item submissions include post-it notes, handbills, small props, folded costumes, etc. As a group, we’ll organize, structure, catalogue, and preserve detritus of past performances, and through the process will celebrate our shared memories and our history.

This event is all ages. There will be free food for everyone, with Johnny’s Pops for dessert.
